Itinerary:

The Lost Corner Park is another one of the hidden treasures in the Sandy Springs, Ga community. The beautiful 24 acre preserve was transformed into a usable recreation area by the City of Sandy Springs. Lost Corner's address is 7300 Brandon Mill Rd. at the corner of Riverside Drive/Dalrymple Road and Brandon Mill Road.

The trail is relatively small, but beautiful. With this in mind, we will loop  the trail a couple of times to see the entire park, energize and complete our 3-mile hike by 9am.     

 Additionally, the Lost Corner has a unique history as a working farm, dating back to the settlement of the area in the mid 1800s and the Civil War. To learn more about the history, property, community garden, nature trails, and meeting place you can visit the following website:

Optional Volunteer Opportunity

The Frienda of Lost Corners host volunteer events to clean-up the park, improve the trails, plant flowers, and etc. one Saturday every month

between 9am-12. With this in mind, I plan to stay after the hike for an hour or so to volunteer to clean-up,  planting flowers,  or other volunteer activity.

Please bring gloves, a few trash bags, and etc,. if you plan to stay to volunteer afterwards.

We will meet in the parking lot and there are bathrooms on the outside of the cottage.
