Wear closed toed shoes & clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. They supply all the gloves & tools but feel free to bring your own gloves.

OPTIONAL ~ Come join me after the volunteer work to hike through the Chattahooche Nature Center at no charge. Hike the trails & see all the wildlife after our restoration work. The hike will be approximately 1 hour or until approximately 1:00 pm. Then lunch at Moxie Burger after hike.

We will meet on the steps outside the Visitor Center.

The Chattahoochee Nature Center is a private, non-profit environmental education facility in Roswell, GA. Located on 127 acres (0.51 km2) adjacent to the Chattahoochee Riverr, the nature center focuses on educational outreach through the use of live flora and fauna.

An on-site wildlife clinic operates at the center for the rehabilitation and release of reptiles, amphibians, and birds of prey. Animals that can not be released back into the wild remain on-site. Many are utilized in displays or for community outreach programs.

Local species of native plants are housed and grown in the center's greenhouse and nursery.
