Itinerary:

The 11,000 acre Mountain Bridge Wilderness Area is home to Jones Gap and Caesars Head state parks in northern South Carolina which are linked through a series of interconnected trails.

We will begin our hike at the Jones Gap State Park following the Middle Saluda River on the Jones Gap Trail for about 5 miles to Caesars Head State Park. From there, we will hike about 4 miles to Raven Cliff Falls and back. Finally, we will return to our cars following Jones Gap Trail again (approx 5 miles).

This is NOT a beginners hike, so please be sure you are in good physical condition. However, we will not be hiking at a fast or fitness hike pace.
