This note is here so that you can make an informed decision. When a Trip Leader isn't personally familiar with a trip, there is an increased chance of things not going as planned and you need to be prepared. The Trip Leader may have additional details in the itinerary.

Itinerary:

Brook Run Park to Pernoshal Park - there are paved trails that connect the two parks.

At 102-acres, Brook Run Park is the largest park in not only Dunwoody but the region. Signature park features include a large children's playground, 2-mile Brook Run Trail loop, skate park, dog park, community garden, and event facilities.

I have hiked this route in the past BUT I have not been the leader on a hike here therefore I am designating as an Exploratory HIke = but the trails are pretty straight forward, easy to follow

Considered an urban hike because all the trails are paved - you can wear sneakers for this one.

We will walk/hike about 4 1/4 miles in just under two hours. it will be a nice, relaxing, moderate pace.

Dogs are welcome on this hike - please note what kind of dog you have when you registrer.

Great hike for beginners, those new to the AOC, those that want just a nice, social, easy going outing.
