Itinerary:

Come celebrate the spirit of fall by viewing Alpharetta's 12th annual scarecrow event.   Kids from elementary schools and community groups created all 120 of these creative, colorful and lifesize scarecrows which line the streets of downtown Alpharetta.     

We will meet at Wills Park and begin our hike walking through the park making our way to Main Street in downtown Alpharetta.  Our hike will be approx 4 miles, all on pavement with very little elevation. 

NOTE...After our hike we will be gathering for a totally optional dinner at Mellow Mushroom which serves pizza, salads, hoagies and calzones.   

Please arrive a few minutes early for check in or call the trip leader if you are running late because we will be starting on time.   

Parking is free and there are bathrooms at this location.

We will be meeting near the Wills Park Athletic Field sign.  More info below.

We will be meeting at Wills Park.     

Exit GA400 at exit 10 which is Old Milton Parkway and go west approx 1 mile.   The parking lot will be on your left just before Wills Road.  

NOTE .... There is more than 1 parking lot entrance.  The physical address below is to the entire park. We will be parking near the sign that says "Wills Park Athletic Field" which is between the swimming pool and tennis courts.  We will be meeting near that sign.
