Note: This is an "EXPLORATORY" trip. This means that there are parts of this trip, or perhaps the whole trip, that is new to your Trip Leader(s). However, they are confident that this will not be an issue.
This note is here so that you can make an informed decision. When a Trip Leader isn't personally familiar with a trip, there is an increased chance of things not going as planned and you need to be prepared. The Trip Leader may have additional details in the itinerary.

Itinerary:

This is a doubleheader hike - I'll do a hike at Cherokee Bluffs and then another right down the street at a new park called Williams Mill Greenspace. The Williams Mill hike is exploratory (I've never been there before) and will likely be a short hike. If you plan on attending both then you must sign up for both. You are not required to do both.

[Stolen from their website] Williams Mill is a 48-acre park with rolling meadows, streams, natural shoals, 2 small ponds and native wildlife. The park is certified as a Wildlife Sanctuary with the Atlanta Audubon Society. More than 45 species of birds have been seen at Williams Mill, in addition to the many other types of wildlife that call the park home.

I have a trail map, I'm estimating 1.5 miles but I really have no idea. There look to be enough small connector trails so even if we do a loop and it is less than 2, we can double back, do some connector trails, etc to make it 2 miles. I would like to aim for closer to 3 miles and we can do that depending on the group's willingness. I have listed this as exploratory as I haven't been and I truly have no plan. We'll meet in the front parking lots and I plan to take off in a counterclockwise loop and will just see what happens.

Please arrive a few minutes before the start time to check in. We will depart on time. Meet at the parking lot on the right as soon as you turn in to the park. There are restrooms but I can't guarantee they will be open. And they are a few hundred yards off of the trail to allow time to get there and use them. We will depart on time.
