Itinerary:

We are hiking all of the Alpharetta Greenway and Big Creek Greenway.

This is a beginner hike on a hard surface.  The pace is 3.0 to 3.3 mph.   Everyone will park at the Marconi Trailhead.  Then a maximum of 5 people will go with Ralph to the Big Creek Trailhead and hike to the Marconi Trailhead.  A maximum of 5 people will stay with Ann and begin their hike towards the Big Creek Trailhead where we will get the car (the one Ralph left for Ann) and drive back to Marconi.

Distance is approximately 8.25 miles.  Elevation is minimal.  Hike is on wooden boardwalk and cement walkways in the woodlands of Big Creek.

We will maintain a fast pace.

Bring along water and snacks, but we won't be slowing down too much.

There is a restroom part way through the hike and at the Big Creek Trailhead.

Guide dogs are permitted on this hike.

The Marconi Drive is off of Windward Parkway on the east side of 400 and at the south side of Windward Parkway.  The intersection has a light and there is a small McKesson sign on the corner.

The park entrance is nearly to the end of Marconi Drive on the left hand side.  Look for me at the picnic table.
