Itinerary:

Will meet @ the Mansell road park & ride, heading up 400 on to hwy 19 to Vogel ST. Park. Meeting back up around the parks vistor center parking area. From there will head out on this beautiful 4 mile trail plus another 1/2 mile with a side trail to an overlook with about 700' elevation gain. With the leaves off the trees we should get nice veiws all along the trail. We will hike on the slower side of a moderate pace.

Warm clothes
Hiking boots.
1 liter of water

From Mansell road, will head north on Ga 400/19 toward Dahlonega. Follow GA-400 N/US-19 N to GA-115 in Lumpkin County 40.5 miles Continue on GA-115. Take Long Branch Rd and Town Creek Church Rd to US-19 N 16 miles. Follow US-19 N to Vogel State Park Rd in Union County 12.8 miles. Turn left onto Vogel State Park Rd

The total amount should be divided by the number of people in the vehicle, including the driver.
