Itinerary:

We will leave the carpool at Windward parl and ride. promptly at 9 AM. We should arrive at the trail head at Dockery Lake by 10:15 and be underway by 10:25. Dockery Lake Trail is one of the prettiest approach trails to the AT. After 3.7 miles it intersects the AT at Miller Gap where we will hang a left and go about 2 mile to Preaching Rock. We''ll eat lunch, rest and take photos of the great views from the Rock.  then retrace our path back to the cars. We will go at a moderate pace (2 - 2.5) so that we can enjoy the beauty of the hike.

This event was partially copied from Larry Cooper and Sam L. 2013 events, thanks to both.
