Join us mid morning Saturday with a D3 at Kennesaw Mountain for a hike that will include a mix of terrain and also a visit to its historic summit. (1 pass over the mountain) Followed by lunch, optional at Gabriel’s Restaurant & Bakery

This is a FAST hike - 3.5 miles+ per hour.

We will start at Burnt Hickory doing a .5 on New Salem Church Trail on the Burnt Hickory side of the park, then we go up the stairs and cross Burnt Hickory Rd to Camp Brumby Trail. We will take this trail around the base of mountain to the visitor center. Don’t worry, there are some hills to get your heart pumping right away. We will take a short break at visitor center to regroup. Now the real workout starts, we will then proceed up Kennesaw Mountain to Little Kennesaw and then to Pigeon Hill and down to the parking lot at Burnt Hickory for a 6.8 mile loop.

Meet at Burnt Hickory parking lot at 9:50 (Also called Nose Creek Trail parking lot) This is a small parking lot.  No BATHROOMS at this location - but we will stop at the Vistor's Center half way through the hike.
