Itinerary:

This is a nice warm weather hike as it passes over 2 water sources. At the 3.5 mile mark the trail crosses the Thompson River. We will stop there & rock-hop & cool our feet. Then we have a 400 foot climb to a ridge top before descending to the spur trail for Hilliard Falls. You can walk or swim under the falls, which descends into 3 pools.
There are a couple of good climbs so you will appreciate the water when you get there.

This is on the easier end of a D5 and we will keep a moderate to fast pace, but stop and enjoy the water by the falls and perhaps Thompson River as the group decides.

Dogs must be on leash at all times and not interfere with other hikers or dogs.

Note: The trip leader may contact you to determine your fitness level.  The trip leader reserves the right to remove anyone from the list who they fell cannot handle this trip.
