Itinerary:

We will cover 5 miles at a moderate pace by heading over to the river trail, adventure up a few of the back hills, hike on the lollipop trail and then loop back around.

Expect to keep a steady pace throughout the hike but we will stop and enjoy the views of the river and the woods.

We will meet at the VISITOR CENTER parking lot which is at the end of Island Ford Parkway.

The hike will start promptly at 9:00 am.

Up to 2 dogs can come on the hike. Please register your dog when you RSVP. You must use a leash at all times in accordance with the Park rules. 

If you do not have an annual CRNRA parking pass, you will need to purchase the $5 daily pass at the pay station in the parking lot. 

Do not leave any valuables in your car including the trunk since vandalism has happened in the past.

1906 Island Ford Pkwy, Sandy Springs, GA

From northbound US 19 and GA 400
- Take exit #6 (Northridge Road).
- Coming off the exit, stay in the right lane, cross over GA 400, and turn right onto Dunwoody Place.
- Go 0.5 miles to Roberts Drive.
- Turn right and proceed 0.7 miles to the park entrance on your right.

From southbound US 19 and GA 400
- Take exit #6 (Northridge Road)
- Continue straight ahead at the traffic light onto Dunwoody Place.
- Go 0.5 miles to Roberts Drive.
- Turn right and proceed 0.7 miles to the park entrance on your right.
