Itinerary:

Note: This will be at a "fitness" pace of 3+ mph, thus the D3 rating. We will stop to regroup and for the views.  The trail is moderately hilly, so hiking poles may help.

Harbins Park, at 2,200 acres, is Gwinnett County's largest park, with nearly 30 miles of hiking, mountain biking and equestrian trails.  The hiking trail includes some nice overlooks, rock outcrops and moderate hills (750' of climbing over 7 miles).  The parking area includes restrooms, changing rooms and a water fountain.

We'll hike the "stacked" loop below, starting with 1/2 mile on a paved path, then clockwise on the 4.7 mile hiking trail with the addition of a 1.5 mile section on mtn bike trail.  There's also an option to add the additional 1.5 mile mtn bike loop (on left side in map below).

We'll meet near the restrooms (see location in map link above).

A Trail map can be found here .  Note that Luke Edwards Rd and the parking lot are at the top center of the map.
