Itinerary:

We will start at the Visitor's Center.  The Visitor's Center is located all the way down the entrance road to the very end which is about one mile from the entrance off Roberts Drive.  We will start out on the trail behind the Visitor's Center along the river.  Then head towards the front part of the park and tackle the lollipop section.  We will return back by covering the part we hiked prior to finish our 5 mile trek.

Pace will be moderate - not fast, not slow...but just right.

Please arrive a wee bit early so we can start right on time.  Thank you.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

From Atlanta, travel north on Highway 400 to Northridge Road - Exit 6.

As you exit, remain in the right lane and cross the highway bridge.

Turn right (north) at the first traffic light to Dunwoody Place.

Continue north for 0.6 mile and turn right (east) on Roberts Drive.

Go for 0.7 mile, crossing beneath Highway 400 to Island Ford Parkway.

Turn right (north).


Notes:

Restrooms are available at the Visitor's Center which is at the end of Island Ford Parkway.  Open until 5 pm.
