Itinerary:

ALL TIMES ARE EASTERN!

Join me for a fun hike in the Dugger Mountain Wilderness, Alabama's second highest peak, standing strong at 2,140 feet!

We will hike 6 miles to the Summit of Dugger Mountain via the Pinhoti Trail and return the way we came. The first section of this hike will get the heart pumping with a straight up ascent. Once we reach the top of the mountain we will stop for lunch and take in the views for 30 minutes or so.

Since it's winter we should have great views across the Alabama countryside.

This is a moderately strenuous D4, the trip leader will contact you to determine suitability if you have not completed any D4's recently.
