Itinerary:

We will meet at the parking area at the end of Columns Drive off of Johnson Ferry Road. Look for us by the gate entrance to the gravel path.

We'll start our hike with a loop down by the water before heading up into the trails to explore some of what Cochran Shoals has to offer! We'll hike the trails and I'll show you how the lower part of this ties into the hikes from Sope Creek!

There are rest rooms available.

And don't forget your parking pass!

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

Take I-285 to Riverside Drive - Exit 24.

Travel north for 2.4 miles to Johnson Ferry Road.

Turn left (north), crossing the Chattahoochee River past the CRNRA Johnson Ferry Unit.

Turn left (south) on Columns Drive at 1.0 mile.

The road winds through the Johnson Ferry Unit before reaching a parking area for Cochran Shoals at 2.6 miles.


Notes:

$5 parking daily pass is needed, unless you have an annual Chattahoochee River National Recreational Area.

Restrooms are available.
