Itinerary:

This is Allison's first co-lead on her journey to become an AOC trip leader.  Way to go Allison !!

Come join us for an after work walk on Roswell's beautiful riverwalk and boardwalk.  We will be hiking at a moderate pace but stopping to enjoy the views of the wildlife & wetlands. The trail is totally flat on cement and boardwalk.  This is a great hike for beginners and people wanting to get back out to the outdoors.

NOTE....there is little shade on part of this path so if you are sun sensitive please bring a hat and/or sunscreen.

There are bathroom facilities at this site.

This is a popular park so please come a few minute early to find a parking spot.  We will be leaving on time.

The Roswell Riverside Boardwalk officially opened December 16, 2016. It is a 0.7 mile walk through wetlands and over water from Azalea Drive to the Chattahoochee Nature Center on Wileo Road. The new section of the Roswell Riverside Boardwalk continues from the Chattahoochee Nature Center to Wileo Park officially opened October 20, 2018 and is .6 miles in length.
