Falls

 

This will be a fitness hike with a few pauses for intermediate to advanced hikers.  We will start at the Visitor's Center parking lot and warm up with the 425 stairs to the top of the falls.  There will be a quick snack break at the Len Foote Hike Inn then we will return via the hike inn loop.

If you do not have recent D4 or D5 experiance, the trip leader may contact you.

Please note:  The trip leader reserves the right to remove anyone from the list who they feel cannot handle this trip.

There is a $5.00 State Park Fee per car unless you have an annual park pass.

Good hiking shoes or boots
Electrolytes and snacks 
Hiking gear appropriate for the trail and weather conditions

From the Park & Ride we will go north on Georgia 400 past the outlet Mall to GA 136. Left on 136 till GA 52. Right until the park entrance.

We will meet at the visitor's center parking lot.

Carpool Cost: Estimated cost per vehicle for this event is $36.00 using a reimbursement rate guideline of $0.400 per mile. The total amount should be divided by the number of people in the vehicle, including the driver. This is a guideline, not a rule, for drivers but the cost should not be higher unless there are extenuating circumstances.
