Itinerary:

This unit of the Chattahoochee River offers a taste of rugged beauty from high, heavily wooded ridges above the water to sandy, lushly carpeted floodplains lines with ferns, willows, and bamboo.

This will be a clockwise loop of east palisades.

We will be visiting the bamboo forest, deck overlook, dog beach, river trail, as well going DOWN the Big Awesome Hill (BAH).  Don't let this scare you off, we'll go at a slow pace down the BAH.

This is a good introduction for those who have not been to east palisades before.

Dogs are welcome and must be leashed.

We will be meeting at the Indian Trail entrance NOT Whitewater Creek.
