Itinerary:

Please join me for a hike at Gold Branch

We will meet in the parking lot on Lower Roswell Road and hike the main loop trail in a clockwise direction.  There is a bit of gentle elevation - nothing too strenuous.  We will be hiking at a moderate pace.  Total hike will be two hours and approximately 5 miles. We will stop for a couple very brief water breaks.

Gold Branch has many, many roots, ruts, uneven ground, etc so hiking shoes are a must and hiking poles are suggested.

There are NO restrooms at this location

$5 cash for a daily parking pass - OR if you have the annual CRNRA pass just display in your vehicle and you are good to go.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

Approx physical address is 6156 Lower Roswell Road, Marietta GA   30068

Gold Branch is on Lower Roswell Road between Johnson Ferry Road and Willeo Road.  The park entrance is between residential subdivisions (directly acrosss Lower Roswell Road from Asheforde Road/entrance to Asheforde subdisvision)  and is easy to miss if you are not watching for it.  The sign is just a green street sign that says Gold Branch Drive.

If you are coming from Johnson Ferry Road it is on the right about 2 miles from Johnson Ferry.

If you are coming from Willeo, it is about a mile south but will be on your left.

If you are following Azalea Drive turn left onto Wileo but be aware that Wileo becomes Lower Roswell Road when it does a 90 degree left turn in the roundabout.   The park is about a mile further down Lower Roswell on your left.
