Itinerary:

Because of a glitch in the registration process, we've run into the problem of having too many members added to the active list above the maximum limit of 20.  Please be aware that we will be moving members above 20 registrants to the waiting list in the order of their registration times.  People will then be added to the active list as we have withdrawals.

This is our usual time slot for our Beginners Welcome hike. Though we have a lunch break towards the end of the hike, the distance will be around 6 miles.

Dozens of visual works of art from local to international artists have transformed the Atlanta BeltLine into a linear gallery space. Over 50 dynamic art installations have been erected along the Eastside railroad corridor.  These installations are temporary and will be on display only until mid-December; so grab this chance to see the spectacular displays on a leisurely walk with fellow AOC members.

The Beltline hike is flat, so elevation change will not be a problem.  We'll be walking at a very comfortable pace and stopping frequently to appreciate all the exhibits we pass.

We'll gather in the Park Tavern parking lot off 10th St (see street address and coordinates below), please note that the cost of parking at Park Tavern is $5.  We'll access the Beltline going through the Piedmont Park section of the Beltline to view the art along this section before we go to the Old Fourth Ward reservoir and then back to Ponce City Market. We'll stop there for lunch. After lunch we'll head back to our cars at Park Tavern.

Bring your camera or plan to use your cell phone for the many photo opportunities you'll have.
