Itinerary:

Let’s hike Pine Log Creek and look for that elusive frog.  For those who have not been to Pine Log Creek near Rydal, GA you are in for a treat.  The trail has several climbs, a few creek crossings and beautiful views of the gorges formed by the aforementioned creeks.

Our hike will cover both the East and West loops and also visit the old Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) rock quarry. This is the best time of the year Pine Log Creek when the leaves are down and you can really see (and appreciate) the terrain there.  We will hike approximately 5 miles and climb about 750 feet of gain before returning to our cars.
