Itinerary:

Join us for a fun Sunday hike to the top of Mount Yonah. I am stealing an idea from a recent trip I went on with the Calgary meetup group and this is totally optional: Bring your favorite cheese (does not need to be much; 4oz is sufficient) . Please pre-cut and have it in a container. If you don't like cheese you feel free to bring your own choice, fruit or veg or dessert.

At 3166' Mount Yonah has great views over the surrounding area; this should provide excellent vistas of the countryside.

Our route will follow the main trail approximately half way up Mount Yonah where we will take a right  on the way up Yonah we will take a detour to “The Boulder” plus a side trip to the bottom of the cliff face. After visiting these two great features of Mount Yonah we will back track and follow an alternative trail to the top.

Once at the top we will spend some time getting some photos, eating our cheese/snacks and then proceed around the mountain to take in all of the views. On the way back we will have an option to get any last minute photos before we descend back down to the car park.

We will hike at a leisurely pace with plenty of stops to provide great photo opportunities.
