Itinerary:

Len Foot Hike Inn is a favorite desitnation of us AOCers and a common approach to this place is via Amicalola Falls State Park. I was thinking about taking a different approach, Amicalola to Springer is my fimiliar route and short hike of Springer Parking Lot to Springer Mountain was done couple of times too. So trail isn't new for me, just the route bit innovative. The hike starts from Springer Mountain Parking Lot, its little over a mile to get to iconic Springer Mounatin, from there we will descent to Black Gap and then to Nimblewill Gap. Then we will cross Amicaloal Mountain Rd (A gravel Rd) before hitting a cross road with a sign poining towards Hike Inn to left and Amicalola Falls Park going straight. We will turn left to hike a mile to reach Hike Inn.

We will have lunch or snack there take some picture and head back the same way. Its an in and out hike.

Pace of this hike is between moderate to fast but definitely not a FAST FAST. So if you are racing type hiker then this hike isn't for you.
