Our Group Riding Plan

Our plan is to bike ride the popular 48 mile BBC route (Plus 2 additional miles to give us a total of 50 miles of saddle time) at a 2 wheel moderate pedal pace - not too fast, not too slow - and enjoy the rolling hills and amazing countryside backroad scenery.

We will roll out at 7:40 AM sharp to beat the heat!

There are hills, some more challenging, please note: this is NOT a flat greenway or Silver Comet ride, or speed race to see who can finish first.  We will plan to stay together as a group, stopping every few miles at turns to re-group & re-energize with a few gulps of water or Gatorade and snacks.

Optional: After the ride, we will plan to gather at the Bud Plant parking area picnic benches for a post ride lunch under the trees, so bring a sandwich and beverage of your choice!

Up front notice: This is a no-drop ride so no one will be left behind, but if you can't keep up with the group and/or follow the bike course direction markings, you may be asked to turn around - you're responsible for finding your way back to the start, so plz carry your phone with map app loaded.  Road bike strongly recommended, unless you can keep up with the other cyclists on a hybrid bike.

Please plan to show up 5-10 minutes before the start of the ride for check-in, intros, safety review, changes, and riding plan.

48 mile BBC route + 2 miles = 50 Total Miles

Important Notes

Social distancing and CDC COVID-19 guidelines and recommendations will be followed
