PLEASE NOTE THE PARKING LOT - - WHITEWATER CREEK   (Not the Indian Trail lot) WE WILL BYPASS THE USUAL HIKE TO THE NORTH PALISADE CLIMB AT THE RIVER NEAR THE DEVIL'S RACE COURSE!! This hike will encompass the 48 acre park. A figure 8 Loop will include all Creeks and tributaries, the 2 Shoals up River and down River, the Bamboo Grove and Dog Beach and maybe run into Mr. Chattahoochee!! Please make sure you meet me at the WhiteWater Creek location. This event is now a D2 ! There are no restrooms on the premises. Pass can be purchased at the Kiosk in the parking lot - I undersatnd that they don't take cash any longer - you should be able to scan a code with your phone and pay electroncially. or prior to hike go to this website and purchase a daily or annual pass https://www.nps.gov/chat/planyourvisit/fees.htm Photo by Chuck R.

Please note the physical address and the directions mentioned below are approximate; the best way to get to the parking lot is by using the co- ordinates

4059 Whitewater Creek Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30327

From I -285 East
- Take exit 22, Northside Drive, New Northside Drive, Powers Ferry Road. 
- Right on Northside Drive.
- Go through the Powers Ferry intersection for 1.6 miles to Harris Trail (Caution light).
- Right on Harris Trail and .9 mile to Whitewater Creek Road.
- Right and entrance will be on the right (.1 mile).

From I-285 West
- Take exit 22, Northside Drive, New Northside Drive, Powers Ferry Road.
- Straight to second traffic light.
- Left on Northside Drive, through the Powers Ferry Road intersection for 1.6 miles to Harris Trail (caution light).
- Right on Harris Trail and .9 miles to Whitewater Creek Road.
- Right and travel.1 mile to the entrance on the right.

From I-75 North
- Take exit 256, Mt. Paran Road.
- Right on Mt. Paran Road to first traffic light (Harris Trail)
- Left on Harris Trail to Whitewater Creek Road
- Right about .4 miles to the unit which is on the left.

From U.S. 41 (Cobb Highway South)
- Travel to Mt. Paran Road
- Right on Mt. Paran Road, go to the first traffic light (Harris Trail) and turn left.
- Go about .3 miles turn left onto Whitewater Creek Road.
- Go .4 miles to the unit, which is on the left.

From U.S. 41 (Cobb Highway North)
- Travel to Mt. Paran Road
- Turn left on Mt. Paran Road, go to the first traffic light (Harris Trail) and turn left.
- Go about .3 miles turn left onto Whitewater Creek Road.
- Go .4 miles to the unit, which is on the left.

Bring $5 cash for parking unless you have an annual pass, which you can apply for HERE.
