Itinerary:

Please join me for my first visit to Cloudland Canyon State Park.

we will meet at the interpretive center (ranger's office) and hike about 3 miles up Sitton's Gulch Trail and then back (total 6 miles roundtrip) and then pick up the Hemlock Trail for another mile of hiking.  There are  hills, a strenous hike.  We will hike at a moderate pace on the more level trails but take all the hills at nice, slow pace.

I have heard that we should see some waterfalls - I hope my source is accurate!!!

Alloting 3 1/2 hours - might be a bit over or under on time and mileage (hoping to get in 7 miles)

There is a $5 parking fee at Cloudland Canyon State Park (or bring your annual state park pass)

There is NO carpool for this event.

As with all events social distancing is the new normal, give plenty of room to your fellow AOC hikers as well as others on the trails.
