Note: This is an "EXPLORATORY" trip. This means that there are parts of this trip, or perhaps the whole trip, that is new to your Trip Leader(s). However, they are confident that this will not be an issue.
This note is here so that you can make an informed decision. When a Trip Leader isn't personally familiar with a trip, there is an increased chance of things not going as planned and you need to be prepared. The Trip Leader may have additional details in the itinerary.

Itinerary:

This may be an AOC first - Xmas lights galore.  Urban hike, sidewalk and street, through a beautiful neighborhood that does it up right for Christmas.  We will park our vehilces at the Ocee Branch Fulton County Library in John's Creek - then a short stroll (five minutes) to bring us to the entrance of Hillbrooke Subdivision - there we will walk up and down all the streets within the neighborhood and ooh and aah at all the holiday decorations.

Exploratory as I have never done this before.  Time and mileage may be slightly under/over - huge neighborhood and don't want us to miss a thing but will do my best to keep to two hours max.

Required Items to Bring:

Flashlight

Walking shoes

please try to wear brighter colors (not all black) as we have to share the road, once in the neighborhood wtih cars, and even though the Xmas lights make it very bright it's still important to make ourselves visible for the motorists.
