Itinerary:

Let's show our love for the Chattahochee Parks by joining hundreds of volunteers for the 11th annual Sweep the Hooch event.

Registration is a 2-step process!!! 

1. REGISTER with the Chattahoochee RiverKeeper at https://chattahoochee.org/sweep-the-hooch/?fbclid=IwAR3wKGKcVzUTFUu8smIs8OvKTUoujN6nyYhqmYDd-3Yx78zrUJPxKn6BM8I 

Select your volunteer assignment (Walker, Wader or Paddler) & choose from over 50 sites.  You MUST register with the CRK to participate in this event.

Register early!  Sites have a limited openings and will close once site capacity is reached.

All sites are trash cleanup EXCEPT Cochran Shoals (Columns Drive) which involves basic trail maintenance.

When you fill out the CRK form use AOC as Team Name.  

2. REGISTER here with the AOC. Please confirm which site & task you signed up with CRK in the AOC registration NOTES.  (i.e. Vickery Creek - Walker)

This event will follow CDC guidelines on social distancing and will require volunteers to adhere to the 6 ft recommended distance between others. Face coverings are required to participate.

CRK will provide all cleanup supplies including gloves and hand sanitizer, but feel free to bring your own. 

Team Lead support will be provided.  Not all locations have restroom facilities.
