Itinerary:

Please join me for a figure eight hike around Sawnee Mountain Preserve along the Ridgeline, Mountainside, and Hilltop Trails with the addition of the Church trail in-and-out  We will meet adjacent to the restroom building at the beginning of the Ridgeline trail in the 2505 Bettis- Tribble Gap Road parking lot.  Please note that this is not the parking lot at the Visitors Center or the Indian Seats parking lot.  We will proceed up the Hilltop trail then make a clockwise loop of the Mountainside trail and finish with the Ridgeline Trail.  We will average 2.5 mph overall with a few stops for a drink of water along the way.  The trail will vary from gravel path to a well-worn forest path.  If the hilltop trail is still closed for renovation, I will adjust the route.

Please bring a mask along in case you are not able to social distance.  You will not be required to wear them while hiking.

Parking is free for this facility.
