FULL DISCLOSURE: Yes, the pandemic is REAL, so during this event, you are required to wear a MASK at all times, and practice your best social distancing techniques. If you are unable (or unwilling) to wear a mask, please do not sign up.
That said, RAIN or SHINE, we'll hike the refurbished South Peachtree Creek boardwalk from Medlock Park to the Candler Lake loop (on the Emory campus) and back. We'll maintain a brisk pace to get our blood pumping over the 4.7 mile roundtrip hike, while we enjoy the lovely views. The majority of the hike is on a wooden boardwalk or concrete path, with some sections on gravel, dirt etc., so wear comfortable footwear.
