Itinerary:

This hike is in the Central Time zone, but all times listed are in EASTERN!

If you haven't been on the Pinhoti Trail, what are you waiting for? This section of the Pinhoti resides in the Talladega National  Forest that is known for its' beautiful forest setting.

We will begin our adventure by parking on the side  of the road near the Pinhoti Trail sign. A brief walk on the Chief Ladiga Bike Trail leads us back into the woods for our Alabama adventure. We will be climbing two mountains, crossing multiple (rock-hoppable) creeks, enjoying lake views and several vistas. A fun day in the woods. Somewhere along the way we will be stopping for our trail lunch.

This is a long difficult D5 hike with about 3700 feet of elevation  gain. Only experienced D5 hikers will be able to join the fun.
