Itinerary:

FULL DISCLOSURE: Unfortunately, that stupid, highly transmissible Omicron variant is still with us, so during this event, MASKS and SOCIAL DISTANCING are STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.

That said, rain or shine, we'll hike the refurbished South Peachtree Creek boardwalk from MEDLOCK PARK to the Candler Lake loop (on the Emory campus) and back. We'll maintain a brisk pace to get our blood pumping over the 4.7 mile roundtrip hike, while we enjoy the lovely views. The majority of the hike is on a wooden boardwalk or concrete path, with some sections on gravel, dirt etc., so wear comfortable footwear.
