Elevation gain is 2300'.

We will start at Burnt Hickory and go up to the Brumby Trail (make a right) and continue along to the Visitor Center.  After a fairly short (bio) break we will go up and over Big K and then Little K.  When we get to parking lot at Burnt Hickory we will take a short break for a snack and more water.  Then continue on to the first trail junction on the right and move on to Noses Creek.  We will be crossing Dallas Highway and continuing for another loop and then take the main trail back to the cars.

We will hike at an overall pace of around 2.5 (slower climbing the mountains, then faster once we are on the gentle hills).   If you are unfamiliar with hiking this distance - this might not be for you.

We will stop to add water to our containers, if needed (at the visitor center and at Burnt Hickory).

If weather does not look great this day, hike will be canceled.

Don't forget your park pass!!!
