Itinerary:

We'll start with a an out and back on the lollipop and then do a loop down to the Visitor Center and back.  Covering about 5.5-6 miles and 550 ft of elvation gain.  This will be a moderate paced hike, averaging about 2.0 mph.

We'll meet at the first parking lot, on the left, inside Island Ford National Park.  The hike will start at 11:00  (sorry, we cannot wait for latecomers).

CRNRA does require a parking pass.  I you do not have one, please puchase one before this hike.

There is a $5.00 daily parking fee unless you have an annual pass.  If you need to purchase a day parking pass you can do so at the kiosk at the visitor center parking lot.  Annual passes can be purchased from 9:00 to 5:00 at the visitor center for $40

Bathrooms and parking passes are available at the Island Ford Visitor Center -  go about one mile, from the park entrance, until the road ends.  Arrive early to allow time for restrooms or if you need a parking pass.  From the Visitor Center, head back towards the park entrance to the first parking lot (it is just inside the front gate to the park)
