Itinerary:

This is not a beginners hike -- we are told this group hikes faster than the typical D2 hike

To qualify for this hike, you need to have recently kept pace with a D2 group and be willing to keep pace with this group.

Avg. Speed:  Faster end of Moderate (last 3 hikes were 2.4 to 2.9 mph)

Terrain: rugged creek banks and stepping stones with 18 creek crossings; bird area with grass and overgrowth

We will follow Mulberry Creek through a shaded forest and cross the Creek on stones 18 times.

If the creek happens to be high, we might even get our feet wet.

The Creek hike is a "lariet" through the Hyde Farm County Park with the "noose" in Johnson Ferry North.
