This note is here so that you can make an informed decision. When a Trip Leader isn't personally familiar with a trip, there is an increased chance of things not going as planned and you need to be prepared. The Trip Leader may have additional details in the itinerary.

Itinerary:

Ready for a challenge? The first few miles should be relatively mild with a waterfall and wild flowers for a steady climb, but after a few miles expect to encounter steep up and down sections, and be ready if there are blow downs or parts of the trail are over grown. Elevation gain will be approximately 6,000 - 7,000.” This is a strenuous hike and only for advanced hikers with recent experience of hiking 20 or more miles in the mountains. The trip leader(s) reserves the right to consider participant's past history and to make the final determination for participation on this hike.
