Itinerary:

We will meet at the first parking area on the left as you enter the park (NOT at the main visitor center).  There are no restrooms at this location. We will do the older trail and if time permits, will head down the "new trail". We will hike just under 5 miles at a moderate to semi-fast pace with short rests half way thru. 



The visitor center closes at 5pm. You might want to get there before our hike, if you want to buy the annual parking pass.

hiking boots or shoes with good traction
water
appropriate clothing for the weather
emergency rain gear

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

From northbound US 19 and GA 400

Take exit #6 (Northridge Road). 
Coming off the exit, stay in the right lane, cross over GA 400, and turn right onto Dunwoody Place. 
Go 0.5 miles to Roberts Drive. 
Turn right and proceed 0.7 miles to the park entrance on your right. 

From southbound US 19 and GA 400

Take exit #6 (Northridge Road) 
Continue straight ahead at the traffic light onto Dunwoody Place. 
Go 0.5 miles to Roberts Drive. 
Turn right and proceed 0.7 miles to the park entrance on your right.


Notes:


A maximum of 3 friendly dogs are permitted on this hike. They must be on a leash at all times and you must pick up after your pets per park rules.
