Itinerary:

We are starting early, so bring your morning coffee in a "to go" cup. We hope to take advantage of the cooler temps of the early morning and if we are lucky, we will be able to marvel at mist drifting off the Chattahoochee River.

Let's assemble a few minutes early and be ready to start hiking at 7:30 AM.

Dont leave valuables in car. There have been break-ins at CNRA recreation areas.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

1906 Island Ford Pkwy, Sandy Springs, GA

From northbound US 19 and GA 400
- Take exit #6 (Northridge Road).
- Coming off the exit, stay in the right lane, cross over GA 400, and turn right onto Dunwoody Place.
- Go 0.5 miles to Roberts Drive.
- Turn right and proceed 0.7 miles to the park entrance on your right.

From southbound US 19 and GA 400
- Take exit #6 (Northridge Road)
- Continue straight ahead at the traffic light onto Dunwoody Place.
- Go 0.5 miles to Roberts Drive.
- Turn right and proceed 0.7 miles to the park entrance on your right.

 

Once in the park, take the first left into the parking lot.


Notes:

Parking is $5. No cash accepted. Pay online or via smartphone at the parking lot. Annual Keep America Beautiful pass or CNRA annual pass also accepted.

Don't leave valuables in your car. There has been at least one break-in where a thief observed the driver moving valuables to the rear of the car. You can't assume that you aren't being watched.

At this early morning hour, restrooms will not be available. The park HQ will not be open.
