Itinerary:

This is a beginner's hike because of the slow moderate pace but there are roots and some hills, so you may want walking sticks and hiking shoes.

We'll start at the first parking lot on the left. (not  the Visitor Center lot)

We'll start the hike promptly at 8:30am. Arrive at least 5 minutes early to meet everyone before we start, and/or to purchase a $5 parking pass if you don't own an annual pass. Cash is no longer accepted at the kiosk. You must use your smartphone to pay for parking or purchase a pass in advance online at: https://www.nps.gov/chat/planyourvisit/fees.htm

BE SURE TO LEAVE VALUABLES AT HOME OR AT LEAST WELL OUT OF SIGHT WHEN HIKING. CAR BREAK-INS HAVE OCCURRED IN ALL OF THE CNRA AREAS.

Who am I? I'm Allison!  I used to do a lot of paddling and have had a number of wellness issues that had me sidelined, then COVID, and now I'm back, ready to go. So Join me!
