Itinerary:
We will start at Burnt Hickory and complete New Salem, make a left and take Brumby Trail and go over Little K and then Big K. After a short stop at the Visitor Center, we'll hike both the 24 Gun and Environmental trails before taking Brumby back around to the bottom of Pigeon Hill, where we will cross over to the first trail junction on the right and move on to Hardage.  We will be crossing Dallas Highway and continuing an in and out to the monument (lunch/break at the monument) then take the main trail back to the cars.

We will hike at an overall pace of around 2.5 to 3.0 (slower climbing the mountains, then faster once we are on the gentle hills).   If you are unfamiliar with hiking this distance - this might not be for you.

We will stop to add water to our containers, if needed (at the visitor center and at Burnt Hickory).
