Itinerary:

Please join me for a hike on the beautiful trails of the Island Ford unit of the Chattahoochee River Natl Recreation Area (CRNRA).   We will be hiking at a steady pace along the river and then up into the woods.  There are some moderate climbs but nothing too hard.  Please be sure you can keep a steady pace because we have to be back before dark.  We are not hiking the lollipop loop.

We will meet at the Visitor Center.   See below for directions.

Please note that there is a $5 parking fee unless you have an annual Chattahoochee River Rec parking pass.  Be prepared to use your phone to pay for parking since the kiosks are no longer accepting cash.

Please hydrate before the hike and bring water to hydrate during the hike.

Bathrooms are not available as the Visitors Center will be closed at the start of the hike.

NOTE........I no longer receive AOC emails.  Please call or text me at 770-856-2105 if you have any questions or concerns.
