Itinerary:

Join us for a fun Tuesday hike to the top of Pink Mountain and Mount Yonah.

Pink Mountain, as I like to think of it, Yonah's little cousin is a nice side trip to add some mileage to what is usually a short hike to the top of Yonah.

At 3166' Mount Yonah has great views over the surrounding area; this should provide excellent vistas of the countryside.

Our route will follow the main trail approximately half way up Mount Yonah where we will take a right and head up to Pink Mountain, on the way back to Yonah we will take a detour to “The Boulder” plus a side trip to the bottom of the cliff face. After visiting these two great features of Mount Yonah we will back track and follow an alternative trail to the top.

Once at the top we will spend some time getting some photos, eating our snacks and then proceed around the mountain to take in all of the views. On the way back we will have an option to get any last minute photos before we descend back down to the car park.

We will hike at a leisurley to moderate pace with plenty of stops to provide great photo opportunities.

As the days are getting colder please remember to pack appropriate cold weather clothing, multiple layers are highly reccomended.
