Itinerary:

Parking at the north lot off of Bettis Tribble Gap Road we'll begin our day headed right up the mountain CCW to Indian Seats (which is about 1 mile, pretty much all uphill). Once we reach the viewing platform we will take in the view and slink around to the walls below to inspect climbing routes and some short rappel lines.

Indian Seats Loop trail info

Once we've wrapped up the ropes and gear we'll make our way back around the CCW fashion as we started, making a pit stop at the Visitors Center to say hi and grab a sticker...So while this is only a 4 mile hike, the climbing, rappelling and knowledge of tie-ins and safety easily rate this as a D4. If I have not Rappelled or Climbed with you plan on getting vetted.

Climbing gear and Rap gear is necessary for this event - Helmet too.

This climbing area is pretty small and easy, plus we've heard the rock surfaces are rough - so this may not be an ideal location, but I just have to see for myself...why not share the agony and joy! Right??
