Itinerary:

I have been really enjoying exploring the Pinhoti Trail in Alabama and Georgia. This section of the trail in in Georgia and is not too far from home.

Our hike starts just west of the West Armuchee Creek and winds its' way through the woods and over Strawberry Mountain, across West Armuchee Road and to the Narrows Road Picnic area. Most of our hike will be within the Chattahoochi-Oconee National Forest.

We will have a couple of moderate climbs as we make our way on this trek. Expect a speed of around 3 mph, about my usual pace, which some consider to be FAST.

Recent D5 experience is required to join the fun. If you are lacking the appropriate experience, expect to be moved to the wait list as your credentials are considered by the TL.
