Itinerary:

Let's enjoy a scenic hike to beautiful Panther Creek Falls, and also check out the winter restoration work on the trail.  We will leave the Park & Ride  promptly at 9 amplanning to arrive at the trail head by 10:15 am. The scenic in-and-out trail follows Panther creek for about 3.5 miles downstream to the beautiful Panther Creek Falls. The roar of the creek can be seen or heard seen throughout much of the hike. The trail is mostly flat, but there are some short sections of steep inclines and the last quarter of a mile before the waterfall has some technical terrain requiring scrambling over narrow, rocky ledges.

After arriving at the falls, we will take about 45 minutes to enjoy the scenery and lunch.

We will then hike back to the cars.  We plan to be back to the parking lot by about 2:30 pm and back at the carpool by 4:00 pm.

This will be a no-rush hike to enjoy the walk in the woods and the rushing creek.  Be prepared to tackle a few short technical sections during the hike, but nothing that a good D3 hiker can’t handle!
