Itinerary:

Welcome to another silent hike event!

This will be a partial silent hike to better enjoy nature and experience some quietness.

Silent hikes provide with the opportunity to better immerse in nature and "quiet" our internal chatter. We also improve our listening and eye-foot coordination.

The silent part of the hike will be the first hour and a half. It is OK to greet other hikers on the trail if that is your custom. Read more about Tips for Walking Mindfully in Nature.

We will meet at the Visitor's Center (enter through the entrance and drive all the way down until the end of the road). We'll head for the second parking lot to cover the "lollipop trail" (in and out). Then we'll return to the Visitor's Center.

Purchase your $5 parking fee in advance online

Dogs are welcome but must be on leash at all times in accordance with Chattahoochee NRA park rules.
