Itinerary:

We will be hiking the AOC local go to path on Kennesaw Mountain. Starting at the Visitors Center we will huff and puff up Big K, and then Little K on down to Burnt Hickory Rd at which point we'll turn around and retrace our steps to the start point (Approximately 6 miles and 1700 ft elevation gain).

This is going to be a medium on up to fast paced event for solid D3 hiker who is itching to take it to the D4 level all the way to very experienced hikers wanting to keep their fitness level high. If you can maintain an average 2.5 mph hiking pace or faster over this kind of elevation this is the event for you. You can stay in a group or go out solo. Whatever you like. I'll stay at the bottom on the covered picnic tables until the event has ended.

If you've not had some recent D3 or greater experience expect that I'll be contacting you to determine if this hike is right for you. My objective always is to deliver the event as described for each participant.

This is Jim's 3rd and final co-lead event toward becoming a Trip Leader.
