Itinerary:

Come run on the nicely sculpted mountain bike trails in SouthSide Park, just off of I-285 on Jonesboro Road. Pace will be easy jogging pace, a good first trail run experience, yet too fast for walking. Terrain has moderate grades, not very steep.

I love to share trail running with all abilities, though my pace has slowed quite a bit! I will offer balance and pacing tips if you wish. We pause for turtle sightings, flower admiring, mushroom spotting, or other natural sights.

The footing is generally good on the beginner and intermediate trails.  If we have an ambitious group we may venture onto the expert trails with optional rock hopping and skipping.

There has been very little bike traffic, and visibility is excellent, so I anticipate little interaction. We will run opposite biking direction.

Please arrive 15 minutes early for introductions and instructions, if needed.
