NOTE: This course is being taught by a career boy scout and member. This course will not provide a certification, but is for informational and educational purposes only. This course is designed to help students handle any medical problems that may arise while taking part in an event. We will be covering: 1. Basic first aid 2. What to do when lost 3. What’s in a first aid kit and what it does 4. What not to do when bad things happen ( ie quick kick damage determination method, turn-A-kits for head wounds, ect) 5. What every leader should have in their pack. 6. Suggested additional training. Participants will have a chance to use basic first aid in role playing sessions.
